And here is the actual location of the road that was used for When Han and Sean were racing. if you do a 180 degrees turn back you can see the over pass that was used. 😀

However, the Shibuya Square scene with all the pedestrians was not filmed in Japan, it was a set built for that location. Very little of the driving in Tokyo Drift happened in Japan, most of it was in Los Angeles.
The downtown scene was filmed behind Best Buy in Los Feliz, Ca. Sea containers were staked 5-6 high to represent the buildings in the back ground.
The scene where the go through a junk yard type setting was shot under the 105 freeway just west of the 405.
